About us

This business started as a hobby is 2016, when as an avid hunter I wanted to display a trophy harvest without paying the money to get it mounted professionally. Well after youtube and some bumps and burns along the way I finally started doing my own European Mounts. I had a friend over the house one day and he told me I should think about doing it for other people as well, because I was really good. I started doing it for friends at first then created my first Facebook page "Schumer's Euro Mounts." At first we started doing some here and there then the next thing I knew I was doing up to 70 euro mounts a year!

The last couple years I offered hydro dipping for the euro mounts I completed. Once customers started seeing this they  jumped on it. Again, this was a lot of trial and error and I was using a Rubbermaid tote and spray cans at the time. Well fast forward to 2021 and I have again expanded my business to professional hydro dipping with "Schumer's Hydro Dipping and Euro Mounts". I am no longer working out of a Rubbermaid container, but have invested in high quality tools so you can receive the best products!

Finally, a little about me. I am a first responder in the area and live in Frederick County, VA. I have been married 11 years and we have three beautiful children of our own. A couple of years ago my wife and I started fostering children locally, and life has been a whirlwind since. Besides our children and foster children we have upwards of 10 goats 20 chickens,3 dogs, cats, fish, frogs you name it! When you come to the shop you will get the opportunity to meet us all!
