Q: Do I have to disassemble my parts?

A: Yes/No If you disassemble it you will save money on disassembly fees, however contact us first because be may need some areas marked as "do not dip areas"

Q: How long will it last?

A: The clearcoat and paint used are extremely high quality! We use various clear coats depending on the product and by request. For all car parts we will use ultra durable automotive grade clear.

Q: What is your turn-around time?

A: That really depends. There is a misconception that we will just hydro dip items immediately after receiving. This is a complicated process which involves, sanding, cleaning, primer, painting, dipping, touch ups then clear coating. The clear coat generally has a 24 hour dry time before we will handle the product. We like to have products returned to the customer within two weeks.

A: BEWARE: Clear coat curing time is 30 days above 50 degrees, so go easy on it at first! Its recommended that you wait 5 days after clearing to assemble.

Q: Are there certain textures you cannot dip?

A: Anything can be dipped for the most part, however certain items like shoes which will flex a a lot with heavy use could see some wear pretty quickly.

Q: Does it hold up to the temperatures?

A: Hydro dip and the clear coat have been tested up to 350 degrees without issue, however there is an extremely high grade and flame retardant clear coat which could be purchased for things such as suppressors.

Q: Will you hydro dip a scope?

A: I will at the owners risk. Scopes have seals and rings which are supposed to prevent moisture from penetrating them. However, you should know that these items could be submerged in water for up to ten minutes during this process, so this is at your own risk.

Q: Do you guarantee your work?

A: Yes of course! We will not take payment until you are completely satisfied with your product! We will also offer a 30 day defect window. If the paint were to dip, or the clear coat cracks will assess and fix the problem in most situations.

Q: Those prices seem high, what am I paying for?

A: Hydro dipping is a complicated process. In more cases it involves having to clean your item thoroughly, disassembly,  hand sanding it, base coating it, hydro dipping, touch up imperfections, and clear coating it. The equipment used is high grade and high quality and the process can be very labor intensive.

Q: If my items are damaged during this process, will you be responsible?

A: Hydro Dipped Services are at the customers own risk. You will sign a waiver relieving the business of all liability concerning your products. Rest assured we take utmost care of your products while in our possession.
